12:01 am, Jan 22. I got a call from Jon. This surprised me quite a bit because we don't normally talk on the phone, his news surprised me even more. Vlad was involved in a fatal hit and run up at UCD. Flashbacks of all the times we hung out together in middle school and high school, all the memories of our inside jokes and the shit we used to do back in the day started to hit me all at once. How is it even possible that he's gone? I could only imagine how his family and close friends feel right now. I was so shocked .. and as we talked more .. it was really sinking in that he's gone. I really couldn't believe it .. so I googled "fatal hit and run january 21 davis," and there it was .. the article about Vlad and how it all happened.
Remember when we fit 10 people in Carol's Celica to go to the movies?
Remember when Vivian, Caroline, and I made that concoction of salsa and drinks from Baja Fresh for you and VJ?
Remember when your dad drove us to pick up Vivian and we got pulled over?

| Jan 13-16.
The nights that we spent smoking weed with hookah & watching Spongebob Squarepants. And when we ended up watching the EDC 2010 movie, oh man ... I cannot begin to explain how excited I am for it. Going to the gym tonight with Carina, Peter, and Patrick and gna do some kickboxing. EDC is probably the best motivation I've had to watch what I eat and actually work out. I am determined to tone up and look great by June 8th!
Jan 17-18.
School started and I think I'm really gna like my Film & Digital Media class. We get to spend the class watching the makings of movies and seeing how the visual effects are made in movies. So far we've watched it for Jurassic Park, Star Wars I, Forrest Gump, and Alien Resurrection. I'm so amazed at how much work goes into making movies. I already know Econ is going to suck, it always does. Chem lab .. we're probably the only normal ones in there. Bitches gotta get their facts straight, they are not the shit and needa stop lookin' us up and down and they really need to stop caking themselves, it's not a good look. |

Was supposed to play football with everybody, but ended up playing hella games of basketball. Did pretty good on the last game, so that made me happy. Then we all went to Costco since Brandon had to do grocery shopping for Jorge's family. Bought a huge bottle of Grey Goose & we went to El Super Burrito for dinner, Peter's never had it before. Afterwards, we went to Travis' party at the Hyatt. Had 3 cups of Grey Goose & ate lots of special popcorn. Carina & I got so high off that, giggling nonstop about absolutely nothing. We were at such a good level, but Paul wanted to eat more so we opened up my bag. Let's just say ... I never want to get that high again. I felt like my heart was beating too fast for 2 hours straight, and had the worst cotton mouth ever, mixed with a stuffy nose which made it extremely hard to breathe. I was trying to sleep for so long just to make it go away. OH MAN! We all finally woke up & went to Leann's for some delicious ABC burgers! YUM (: Unfortunately I had to close that night..

i saw this post on tumblr about writing down memories from 2012, and reading through them once the year is over. since my new years eve - new years day was quite eventful & amazing, i think i'll actually do this (:

went to countdown massive & didn't roll balls, but my friends sure did! i met the cutest & sweetest boy ever. he asked me to dance when he ran into us again at showtek that night, i was so nervous .. i really regret not dancing with him! hopefully i'll get the chance to at porterrobinson on feb 24 <3 if not, there's always beyond & edc! i must dance with him, or else i'll regret it so bad later on. that was the longest day ever, but brandon, carina, travis, lee, & i got so much closer that night. i'm so glad it brought us together and we were able to leave everything from 2011 behind us (:
